What is eye appeal?
Short answer: Eye appeal is how attractive a coin looks overall, taking in its luster, colour, strike and surface.
Two coins with the same grade can differ in price because one has better eye appeal. It is a matter of judgement, which is why looking at a coin in person or in good photos matters.
